The Lawrence Tavern is situated on the mighty Clarence River 30km from Grafton and 10 km from Maclean. It sports the wonderful character of old country pubs with some old local hats on the wall, lovely open fire for chilly winter days, beautiful open dining room and spacious beer gardens.

found the place to be full of rude rednecks......my food food was served with human hair in the salad and was just brushed off when made comment....have travelled around australia and havent been to a more unfreindly pub in my life...not recommended
Best Tavern in Australia.
Best Tavern in Australian, Town is not full of Rednecks, who John was refering to must of been out of towners, because I live in this town and have for most of my life and I don't refer to myself as a redneck. The Tavern has amazing menu board, Staff is Friendly and Very Helpful. Would definetly recommend The Lawrence Tavern.
