About Governor Hindmarsh Hotel:

Since 1993, when the Tonkin family took over, The Gov has established itself as Adelaide’s leading live music venue and is highly regarded upon by musicians and music-lovers alike.

Between the regular local bands playing in the front bar and the world-class music featured in the venue, The Gov really is Adelaide’s home of live, original music.

The Gov’s front bar and saloon bar provide a friendly environment for activities like the Adelaide Ukulele Appreciation Society meetings on Tuesdays, Open Mic Sessions on Wednesdays, Irish Jam Sessions on Fridays and live local bands on Thursdays and Saturdays.

Renowned mostly for its’ entertainment, it’s refreshing to discover that The Gov also boasts a fresh and exciting menu that is diverse in it’s offerings. The ingredients are the very best of fresh South Australian produce and choices range from the famous Wood-Oven Pizzas to traditional pub faves like Schnitzels, Fish & Chips and more gourmet options like the Cajun Blackened Barramundi and Peppered Lamb Cutlets.

To whom it may concern:

I am a professional violinist who has been professionally trained with much performing experience. As a solo violinist, I can play any sheet music and have a repertoire of memorized tunes/songs/favourites. I play Celtic, folk music of around the word, ABBA songs, old favourites, jazz, romantic numbers, Classical, and much more. Requests are welcome (especially if the sheet music is provided).

Would you be interested in hiring me? I would be ideal in a restaurant or lounge setting. The one player lends intimacy and discretion, e.g. not too loud and does not take up any space really. Plus the violin is considered the creme de la creme of instruments. Thus it provides a prestigious, tasteful, and romantic aura. Dignity, impressive, inspiring, relaxing, classy, a nice change, fun, and just so good: these are all words that have often been used by my many listeners.

If you'd prefer a group, let me know and I can arrange for a quality band/string quartet/duet to perform.

yours sincerely,

Georgiana Pinwill
