About Commercial Hotel:
The Bowning Hotel is situated 10 minutes from Yass and 1 hour from Canberra. It offers a warm, friendly and family orientated venue for functions. The Restaurant is open Wednesday-Saturday nights 6-8pm and Saturday & Sunday lunch from 12 noon to 2pm.
There are ATM & TAB facilities available. A courtesy bus will pick up from Yass and surrounding area from Friday-Sunday and other nights on request.

Phoned Commercial Hotel today 5 Sept 2013 a very abrupt and unhelpful publican informed us there is NO accommodation at this establishment.

Bowning Hotel
The hotel restaurant is great. We've eaten there a few times, and it's always been good value. The quality of the food and presentation is well above average for a country hotel. The restaurant is really a nice place for an evening out.
