Fine Food and Cold Beer

Read the previous reviews and was a bit dubious, but we had dinner there last Friday night, which was a smorgasbord. Plenty of hot food, good selection of salads and the sweets were to die for. The staff in the restaurant and bar were happy and helpful and right there to take away your finished plates and empty glasses. Lots of patrons, very busy night.

Ripped off

Went to this pub for tea tonight. Couldn't order off the menu, buffet only night, so paid our money, got our plate walked over to the buffet. It was all either finished or the stale cold dregs. Asked the waitress if it would be replenished. She asked the cook who replied yes. twenty minutes later a few pizza slices and bread rolls come out. The cook said he was going to do some fries as well, by this time we were over it and left. Altogether a most unsatisfactory meal. Really instead of getting a bad review for the sake of a few dollars wouldn't it have been better just to say sorry the buffets finished. We would have been happy to go somewhere else.

this place is now called the australind tavern and is probably the worst excuse for a pub around , the dining room is soul less and bare, usual boring pub food , terrible house wine the ataff cant even pour a shandy they even put ice in it never had that one before and it was flat , and if you just want a drink you have to sit in the grotty TAB it used to be a great pub that was always busy , with good honest food and atmosphere its a shame that the new owners have not worked on its potential instead grounded it down would not recommend it
