Lack of customer service
Yesterday I enetered the Ocean Beach Hotel for a glass of champagne something I do regularly there. Often as the bottle is left over from the night before it is flat. I haven't had a problem getting a fresh glass before until yesterday. When I complained that the champagne was flat the barman said he had to speak to management. He then came back and informed me that Management were not going to open another bottle. I usually have at least 3 glasses which would be a third to half a bottle. I'm sure they wouldn't pay much more than $5 for the whole bottle and are charging me $4. I was told that I could have something else but I didn't want something else as that is all I drink. If they are cutting back that far and cannot keep a customer happy over a $5 bottle of champagne then it makes you wonder where else would they be making cutbacks. Maybe an investigation to see if they are watering down their spirits is in order aswell. As a local business owner I will be letting all my customers know of this pathetic display of customer service. All this over a $4 glass of champagne well done guys hope it was worth it.
