Fiveways Hotel is amongst one of the oldest standing Hotels in Toowoomba's History. A newspaper report says the hotel was built in 1914 with Edward Meagher as owner, however this report cannot be accurate as the first publican of the Hotel recorded was Mary A Lane in 1908. Fiveways Hotel underwent major renovations in 1972 when the drive in bottleshop was completed. It was commonly known as a "working mans pub" but in recent times it has become a familiar household name for good food, service and friendly atmosphere. The Hotel has undergone many renovations throughout the years to make the Hotel what it is today, a great place for friends, family and the like to sit back and unwind from hard days work.
Since the latest major renovations being completed in September 2012. The Hotel now offers an air conditioned, modern relaxed Sports Bar with FOX Sports, a Family Friendly Bistro, Gaming Room and KENO Facilities. The Hotel has an ATM and EFTPOS facilities for your convenience.

this pub reminds me of how pubs "used" to be non flashy, great food, casual and comfortable. They seem to had been affected by the floods back in 2010 but in saying that the food and service is still great!

I have been to Toowoomba on many occasions.I find this pub to be quite welcoming.-The food is good usually pub food is greasy but not here. As a girl I find their toilets to be very very clean that deserves a big plus.
