Meal Quality - Wednesday 21 June 2011
This is something that I do not normally do - but I must make a comment on the quality of the meals we were served on the above mentioned day.
We arrived at the hotel at 1145 and greeted quite cordially - ordered drinks - and at 12.00 noon our order was taken promptly.
The meals were served - again promptly - but the quality left a lot to be desired.
We have eaten in your establishment on a couple of times before (being out of towners) and the service and meals were great
However
Yesterday - a disaster.
The beer battered ?????barramundi - was so hard it could not be cut - and the fish was like a piece of rubber. Chips were great.
The panang curry (with extra chilli) - flavour - very good - beef - tough, dry (in a curry????) - thankfully I have my own teeth.
We commented to the waitress who went to the ???chef - the comment was she would contact her suppliers - frankly the person who should have been contacted was the chef.
Unfortunately this experience has meant is it unlikely that we will visit your establishment again in the near future.
Hopefully the quality of the meals will improve for the sake of your reputation.
