Juandah Hotel Motel is Wandoan's only pub, nestled in the centre of the quiet country town. Here you'll find locals, travellers, and workers alike. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy a cold drink, a delicious meal or stay a while at this friendly country pub.
Juandah Hotel Motel is named after the original settlement of 'Juandah' on Juandah Station, which was renamed Wandoan in 1853. As a nod to the town's history the pub remains the Juandah Hotel Motel.
Generations of local grazier's brands can be found scorched into the timber bar, a tribute to the region's farming history, and to the farming families that still live and work in the area.
The Juandah Hotel Motel has a bar, bistro and motel welcoming travellers from around the country and the world to mix with the locals and experience true country hospitality.
Wandoan is a country town situated on the historic Leichhardt Highway between Miles and Taroom in South West Queensland. While you're here, be sure to stop in at Waterloo Plain Environmental Park, read up on the story of local hero; Mick the Cattle Dog, and spend some time at the Juandah Historical Site.
