Situated at the top end of Salisbury's John St, the Salisbury Hotel has one of the last suburban front bars to have that country feel. It's the kind of bar where everyone knows who you are, and your cold beer is waiting for you before you've reached the bar ! The service is just that good !

Post lockdown 'NIGHT FROM HELL'
Been in home quarantine for 3 of last 4 weeks. Promised my 86 year old Mother a night out. Arrive with masks, go to sign-in but no blank pages available. Order our meals and a drink for Mum. Wait patiently for the new pages, complete the register and get asked by same woman who took the orders "Am I ready to order" still no drink - she issues instructions to other staff member to get the drink. Meals arrive, steak is great but all the vegetables and gravy are 'lukewarm' eat it without complaint. Go to the Gaming Room - mask on at all times. After an hour or so order a soft drink and just sit down and remove mask to drink - immediately confronted by over-zealous Security - have a verbal with him. Phone back later to complain that I am able to remove my mask to drink but Security has LIED about the duration I removed my mask for. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN !

VERY BAD SERVICE
Waited 40 mins for meals no apology we had pre booked no apology apart from it’s a busy night by an unfriendly waitress .
Snitzels cane out over cooked gravy was like brown water . No one enjoyed their meal . Never will return very disappointed.
