The first port of call for thirsty travellers heading south from Sydney was a Hotel in Frog Hollow.
A hundred and thirty years later nothing has changed apart from the name of the suburb & Hotel. Frog Hollow is now known as Rockdale and the place to rest and relax is St George Tavern.
Located at one of the most dangerous intersections in Australia (the world renowned 7Ways) Our Pub was the first port of call for travellers heading south for either a bite to eat or a cleansing Ale.
Here we are in present times and you can still come in for a delicious counter lunch, a cold drink with friends, book out our function area for your party or just drop by the bottleshop on the way home for a great bottle of wine, we have it all here. Always a warm welcome from staff and of course the locals, you won’t find a friendlier atmosphere anywhere else.....some things never change!
