The Channon is a picturesque hinterland village in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, Australia. The closest major centre is Lismore, which is about 20 km to the south-east and Byron Bay is about 40 km to the east. The Channon is part of the City of Lismore and lies approximately midway between Lismore and the village of Nimbin.
The village tavern is one of the few watering holes in the area.
Housed in the converted old butter factory building, the tavern is a popular stop for visitors and a key social hub for locals.
Meals are available from the Nightcap Brasserie, located within the tavern.
Motel-style accommodation is available on-site. Phone for bookings or enquire with staff at the Tavern.

We took over in August 2011.
Phone numbers etc are all wrong.
