Taking pride of place on Eagle Terrace, overlooking the picturesque Bramble Bay, The Full Moon Hotel is the quintessential venue for a relaxing meal, drink with friends or entertaining night out.

Rated by NASA as one of the best vantage points to view the moon, the hotel’s Ocean Terrace is a spectacular spot to be, day or night. With an abundance of fresh locally sourced seafood and produce on the menu and regular special events, the Full Moon Hotel is a welcome hub of energy in the Sandgate and Shorncliffe region.

Each section of the hotel has been carefully planned to cater for every customer need, from the Osbourne Sports & Public Bar to the Ocean Terrace Café, Moonlight Bar and Full Moon Dining Room.

Service not up to standard

Saturday 20/8/22 dinner with 8 family members for 6pm booking.
Questioning what’s happening there.
We were advised about 5.45pm to order asap as big crowd expected. We ordered meals by 5.50pm at counter. Rest of our table ordered approx 6.09pm by app on table.
They received their orders by 6.25pm. Ours arrived 7.10pm
When staff were questioned re our order we were advised our order wasn’t submitted till 6.13pm. We advised that wasn’t the case as we had ordered & returned to our table before others that
Used table app to order.
We were promptly shown our order docket stating 6.13pm time of order processed.
Then also someone had ordered steak.
Understand fully that things can be delayed but we were being quoted times that were incorrect for some reason.
Question: do customers who order by table app get priority service over people ordering at counter. If that’s the case then I feel it’s a type of discrimination.
Pls look at how orders are being processed.
Sad that we’ve had to make this complaint as we visit regularly.
Also I suggested month previous that we have our girls lunch at full moon & one friend said she didn’t enjoy food and service previous time she & her family visited. I thought it a rather unfair & unusual comment. But have to agree with her now.
