Port Hughes Tavern, PORT HUGHES, SA

I had the unfortunate experience to visit this Tavern. Iam a disabled senior citizen who has worked all my life and still working part time. I went to pick my winnings in the TAB on the Sat after the Melb Cup and the lady who had told me that she back every horse in the cup so I just jibed of how lucky she was and what followed was a onslaught of unbelievable extent and my winning was counted out on the bar and I was told to F.CK off.
I went back on the Tuesday and spoke with the owner who 1st of all did not believe me but called the employee over to our discussion and she admitted her actions.I told the owner that as a client I did not think that my treatment was acceptable and I would not be back at the tavern The response was if thats your decision so be it. A half hearted apology by the staff member but basically blamed me because I mentioned how lucky she was with her Melb Cup winning bets I definitely will not be going anywhere this Tavern as I do not need to be ABUSED at my age !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
