Me and my partner are both chefs and have been living in Strathalbyn for 20 years and in the past it has not been to bad so today we decided to go back for a quit meal we ordered a beef parmy and a bangers and mash simple quick and easy but apparently not. it was not to busy and it took 35 mins before we asked the waitress where our meals were and she didnt even put our means through to the kitchen and 5 mins later ( a bit to Quick) our meals come out. my partners sausages were shriveled up and soft because they microwaved the sausages and they tasted horrible, the mash was cold and tasteless and my meal the chips were old and soggy while the beef parmy was smothered in cheese to the point where all i could taste was cheese, the parmy sauce had tones of mixed herbs in it and was horribal for the small amount of sauce i had. we didn't even make it half way through our meals before we felt sick because of the taste. we asked the waitress whats going on and she offered our money back then she walked off then the manager came out to "deal" with us and he Just argued with us and said it was just us and that the meals were fine and that the parmy was definatly fine because they entered a competition for the best parmy in SA well i can safely say they didnt win and for a reason. the manager didnt even offer money back of a free drink no attempt in customer satisfaction so we left Unhappy and HUNGRY if anyone is considering dinning here just Have a long hard think before you dine at your own risk
