An old hotel with a backyard beer garden
While not necessarily out of the way (the Bendigo tram stops at the front door, but it only goes past on an hourly basis) it did take a while for me to walk here from the last pub I visited, and it must have shown because the barmaid asked me if I had been walking for a bit. She then proceeded to tell me about the photos on the wall which showed the pub how it looked in the past, and also told me that there used to be a lady's lounge (at which point one of the old guys blurted out that ladies don't come to the pub anymore). There was a beer garden out the back, but it seemed to be more like a back garden with some tables thrown around, not that it was bad per se, it was just a lot more homely. There is also a room with a pool table as well as a restaurant.
