The Baden Powell Hotel is located only a few minutes from the Melbourne CBD and occupies a prominent corner and Victorian Terrace dating back to 1878.
The Hotel acts as a historic landmark in the area and has been trading as a pub for over 130 years.
Purchased by a couple of local publicans in 2008, the Hotel has undergone extensive renovation to include a private event space, two main dining rooms, a formal outdoor courtyard, three bars and eleven boutique rooms available for short-term accommodation. The resulting style and ambience reflects its heritage and surroundings – a classic pub with modern hospitality.
The ethos behind hospitality at The Baden Powell Hotel is simple: great food and drinks in a welcoming and homely atmosphere.

A bit of a classy restaurant
I can't really call this a pub, it is more of a fancy restaurant with a bar at the front to have some pre (and post) dinner drinks. A quick look at the menu tells me that the food here isn't cheap, but then again I didn't come here for a snack, I came here with a friend for a drink (namely because we were wondering down Victoria Parade having some drinks at the pubs there). There wasn't even a decent outdoor area, more of a smokers cage so they don't have to stand out the front scaring off all the clientele.
