A rather ordinary pub in a nice seaside town
After driving down what is probably one of the more boring stretches of the Great Ocean Road I arrived, rather thirsty, at the town of Lorne, and immediately discovered this rather large pub on the foreshore. Deciding that I needed a bit of a rest from driving I pulled over and popped in for a quick drink. Being a rather wet winter's day (which is not the best of days for a seaside trip) I was confined to the inside of the pub.
I must say that this pub did not strike me as anything fantastic, but then again it was during the low season which meant that there were only a handful of people inside. On the outside the pub itself looked impressive, but inside I had a lot of difficulty trying to find somewhere comfortable to sit (I like couches, of which there were none, or very few, in this pub). I'll probably come back the next time I make my way down here though.
