As you might of heard, yes there are new owners, a new chef and a brand new menu at The Basso!!! So come down and introduce yourselves. We are currently renovating The Lounge Bar and will be opening soon. Come and listen to our great range of bands happeing every Friday 7pm onwards and Sundays 4pm onwards. Stay tuned for which bands are coming next......... Well we hope to see your friendly faces at The Bassendean Hotel soon

More music and a pub for everyone
This would make an ideal original music venue. There are are many musicians in the area. I've lived in the general area my whole life and in Bassendean since 2001 and seen many changes. Have always liked it when the pub makes moves in a progressive direction. It's such an amazing building too - it should be for everyone not just the fluoro shirt guys...
Great place just down the road
Thank goodness you are here.....it’s seems like forever we have been waiting for a great restaurant/pub in our area. The new owners are proving they have “what it takes” to revitalise the historic Bassendean Hotel.
They are ticking all the boxes makes a awesome venue. The staff have a great attitude very friendly and helpful, plenty of live music, catering for the very young (kids Karaoke) to us baby boomers.....a great family friendly environment.
The newly opened restaurant is fantastic, you can enjoy a pre dinner drink or a cocktail at the bar and the food in the restaurant is sensational......very well priced.
Great work Jim and Leigh....thank you for making Bassendean a better place to live.

regarding karaoke
hi there, ive tried to call a number of times, on 2 different numbers with no joy.....tells me theyre not connected....have seen an ad, a little while back in the paper, saying there would be karaoke coming in april....just wanted to know when you will be having karaoke and who will be hosting it plz.....very interested :)

Yes we are looking forward to bringing karaoke into the pub on a Saturday night, we hoping for this to take place within the month of June.
