About Royal Oak Hotel:
If you happen to be heading north from Rockhampton,there is a great old pub at Yaamba which I recommend for a good old fashioned reasonably priced meal.

Royal Oak Hotel Yaamba
The Royal Oak Hotel at Yaamba looks exactly like the old pub my grandfather owned in 1931 - 1933. The hotel was then situated at Canoona. I have an old photo taken in 1931. In 1981 I visited and photographed the original site with the old stumps still visible. Is anybody interested?
