After driving for 4 hours my husband and I decided to stop for lunch. It was 2.30 and we found a nice pub that stated that lunch was served till 3. When my husband approached the counter the chef yelled loudly to the staff, kitchen is closed in 10 minutes. When I approached the counter he then said " Oh god I don't believe this!" We left abruptly as it is probably the worst service and customer care we have ever come across. If you are looking for a place with friendly service, a given when you go out to eat, then I would give this place a really big miss. I wonder how the chef would like it if he took his family out to lunch and they were treated so poorly!

We too (four of us) after driving 3 hours decided to stop for dinner at Muswellbrook on Wednesday 23rd Jan 13.
We stopped at the Eaton Hotel as it was the first on the way in. We were pleasantly surprised when we entered by the look and atmosphere of the hotel. The meal and the service was excellent, staff very pleasant.
