Prior to Covid I would come out here for lunch on average once a month, I’ve never had an issue prior and always been satisfied with the staff and meals.

Unfortunately today had the unpleasant experience of dealing with the very rude and unpleasant lady behind the bar taking orders, would greet or acknowledge customers and when asked about meals or side dishes she was nothing more than a total smart arse and utterly rude.

She failed to provide a helpful, friendly response to any questions asked. Unfortunately after todays experience I will not be returning and I will be posted my review/ experience on every site possible as the way we and other customers were treated today was not just unprofessional but also not acceptable. When our meals were brought out by a young bloke I asked him who the owner/ manager was and initially he kept walking, I asked again and he said “Kate” but would not provide any further details on when she would be back or how to contact her to speak about the staff.

I understand everyone has their own issues and problems but you don’t bring them to work nor do you treat customers in this way.

Given Covid has caused financial issues for most people and especially customers I would have thought they would be delighted to welcome customers who make the effort to come out and support them.
