About Jarrahdale Tavern:

Once the Murray Arms, the hub of a thriving mill town now the historic Jarrahdale Tavern is the perfect place to relax with a cold drink, good food and unwind from city life. Close to the metro area in the Perth foot hills yet it feels like miles away from suburbia. The Tavern is a superb spot to visit on a short trip from Perth, especially if you have visitors in town and only about 20minutes from Armadale off the South West Highway.

Situated in the historic timber town of Jarrahdale the original structure dates back to 1894 and has been refurbished whilst retaining its original charm. The pub is located on one of the highest points in the area and overlooks the beautiful Jarrah forest and is surrounded by two big verandas and has a large shaded beer garden and a grassed area.

The new people running this hotel are so warm and welcoming with a fantastic sense of humor too. They are not just serving but they also likely to come sit with you and chat also. They have added a really nice touch to this place in more ways than one. Ive known this hotel since a child and all I can say is,, I hope these guys remain here.

New leasees in Feb 2012 made good start then fell flat on their faces. Poor attitudes awful overpriced food took hours to produce. Little choice of beers, no local wines all overpriced for a country tavern.
This Tavern needs a good clean, filthy toilets.
The current leasees finish in January "hooray".
If you have NO experience in Tavern business why would you not do a small business developement course first?
Owners returning and have huge job to reinstate this great local tavern to its former glory.

23/9/2012 we had gone to this pub as we have had wonderful experiences with the previous ownership previous owners had our meals out on time and cooked to perfection... this time it went horribly wrong meals took 2 hrs to come out. one meal was completely wrong and refused to be refunded or amended. my meal was burnt i had ordered a surf and turf it was more like tinned dog food. infact i would not feed it to my dog. other meals were under cooked one piece of fish was like a soggy piece of bread. and then when approached about our problems were dealt with in a very unprofessional manner. the person who appeared to be a manager did not want to deal with the problems refused to refund and was very queit frankly rude. i will not be returning to this once lovely establishment.

This gentleman does not exagerate in fact his comments are very moderate as he does not state the food is less than average and lack of service is unbeleivable. The management does not care what you think because the meals are already prepaid
