About National Hotel:

The smallest of the four hotels built in Sandstone during the goldrush years, the National Hotel is also the only still remaining. It was built by W.A. Richardson in 1907 using bricks fired in a local kiln near the Hacks Mine. The hotel has remained open since construction and is a popular stopover for visitors.

The Hotel currently has numerous modifications. It includes a shop, dining room, pool table, and of course the bar. Minor and major renovations include the roofing and court yard.

Restaurant: Meals range from $15 - $30, every night there will be a different special.
Lunch - 12pm-3pm
Dinner - 5pm-8:30pm

Accommodation: There are 21 rooms available ranging from $55-$85. Rooms range from single beds to family rooms, some with share bathrooms and others with toilet/shower facilities. Breakfast room facility available for guests.

Truck Parking Available with free tea and coffee, also showers available to use. BYO Towel.
