Must place to fill vehicles and yourselves
Came upon Cadney Homestead by error. Vehicle had broken down 10kms from Homestead, Mark from C.Homestead came and towed us to the property. Experience was wonderful! To say the least. Very Clean, the outside area is raked daily. Toilets and laundry were spotless. Dining room, is clean enough you could eat off the floor. Lovely big room. Warren a fully qualified chef, who enjoys cooking top quality meals, we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast, cooked as we had asked, The meals were delicious and fresh. Warren cooks with love, love of the food, presentation, and was wonderful to talk to. Our job, takes us all over Australia, travelling by road. This has to be one of the best places weve had the pleasure to dine in. We will never travel to the next bigger town, We will fill our vehicle and ourselves at wonderful Cadney Homestead/ Thankyou Mark

Always Stay at Cadney
We're from Alice and we run a very well known outback travel site. We always stay at Cadney when we're on our way south, as it's good value for money, has good food, helpful staff and happy hour. It's clean and quiet... unlike another roadhouse that I will not name.
Our only suggestion would be to turn off the bloody lights outside the motel units after 10pm. They shine right thru the thin curtains and make it a little hard to sleep.
being from the alice we have
being from the alice we have stoped at cadney many a time travelling south and have always had a great experience. as with everything your experience is only as good as you will allow it to be. we will be travelling south again in six weeks and will be stopping at cadney overnight once again and are looking forward to it
Where is it?
Official document from the SA Gov reads- OH WINTINNA LT 69 D45289. Any questions?
Cadney Homestead
Now listen up you mob. Now I Have been the leasee of this fine establishment for 8 months now, I have no problems with the grapevine from travellers who have stayed and the truckies who stop regularly. They keep coming back because the beer is cold, the food is good, the facilities are clean and it has a welcoming feel to the place. Many travellers are repeats. Why? Quality. When your travelling on the road for a good distance, when you stop you want all this, not some grovell hole that is not worth the folding paper you hand over! So I hope to welcome you to Cadney sometime while I am here. Sooner than later. Mark-Cadney Homestead.
Who Bloody cares. Just stop in and enjoy ya self.
Hello. Mark here from Cadney Homestead.
As far as I am concerned the address is Lot 69 Stuart Highway, Mt Willoughby. SA 5710. Without looking up the exact Lands Department portfolio this is it. Mt Willoughby is the locality due to the fact the old Stuart Highway ran past the station. When the highway was re-aligned the old Mt Willoughby locality followed. Yes the Pub isn't on the station, but it is the closest. The Pub is on a parcel of land belonging to Wintinna Station. Who Bloody cares. Just stop in and enjoy ya self.........Mark.
Agree, if you dont know dont

Cadney Park Roadhouse IS on Wintinna. If you have not see a property map you wouldnt know or realise that it is on the boundry of Wintinna, which can be decieving if you dont know where the property boundry's are.
Beside that, it dosent matter where it is. It is a lovely place to stay, good food, good service, clean and tidy. If your local or not, its a great place for short or long stays.
